Welcome
The Winter Workout Challenge is designed to help you stay active and consistent, encouraging at least 30 minutes of movement 5–7 days each week. This challenge welcomes participants of all fitness levels. Its mission is to give the Wrangell community a fun, supportive way to jump-start their fitness and boost their energy during our dark, wet, and chilly winter season.
The WWC also includes a friendly competitive element: the participant who completes the most workouts during the challenge period will win a 6-month facility pass! Beyond prizes, the challenge offers the built-in rewards of improved health, increased confidence, discovering new types of exercise, and meeting new workout buddies.
Wrangell Parks & Recreation will once again partner with local businesses that support the mission of the Winter Workout Challenge. These businesses generously donate prizes that will be raffled off at the end of the challenge!
