Wrestling
 

ADULT DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT

  • DATE: TBD
  • 6:00PM-9:00PM
  • Community Center Gym
  • Ages 16 and older
  • $15 per participant
  • $5 to watch (pay at the door - cash or check only)
  • All P&R Dodgeball Rules must be followed (find document link below).

OPEN GYM VOLLEYBALL

  • DAYS: MONDAYS @ 7:30pm-9:30pm
  • AGES: 16 years + older
  • LOCATION: Community Center Gym
  • Fee: Punch Card
  • ATTIRE: Flexible clothing, clean shoes
  • VOLUNTEERS: Loni Buness

YOUTH OPEN GYM

  • DAYS: Mondays at 10am-12pm
  • DAYS: Thursdays at 10:30am-12pm
  • AGES: infant - 15 years old
  • PRICE: $3 for first child, $2 for second child, $1 for third child, 4th child+ enters free
  • Cash or Punch Card
  • LOCATION: Community Center Gym
  • ATTIRE: Clean shoes only - please place shoes and coats in the designated area in the hallway to ensure doorways stay clear.

  • IMPORTANT: Parent or guardian must be with child(ren) at all times.

PICKLEBALL

  • SUNDAYS 6:00PM-8:00PM
  • TUESDAYS 12:00PM-2:00PM
  • FRIDAYS 7:30PM-9:30PM
  • AGE: 16 years old +
  • LOCATION: Community Center
  • PRICE: Punch card required

WRANGELL KIDS CLUB

  • DAYS: Tuesdays
  • TIME: 2:30-5PM
  • AGES: 7-13 years old
  • AGES: 6 and under are welcome with a guardian 14 years old or older
  • LOCATION: Community Center
  • Fee: Free
  • DATES: September 14 - December 18
  • Wrangell Kids Club is a free after school program for children ages 7-13 offered by the City of Wrangell's Irene Ingle Public Library, Wrangell Parks and Recreation, and the Nolan Center.
  • Snacks are provided as available. Donations always accepted! We ask for individually wrapped snacks.

  • PERFORMANCE: During the All-Star Tournament on November 7th
  • PERFORMANCE TIME: TBD
  • INSTRUCTORS: WHS Cheer Team
  • PRICE: $30
  • REGISTRATION INCLUDES: Certificate after performance, cheer bow, team t-shirt

STIKINE STRIDES CHALLENGE

  • AGES: All ages
  • LOCATION: Anywhere in Wrangell!
  • DATES: November 1-30
  • PRICE: Free
  • GOAL: Walk 10,000 steps each day in November
  • PRIZES: Show proof of your steps each Friday to recreation@wrangell.com or drop off to the P&R office
  • GRAND PRIZE: Registrants who walk 10,000 steps every day in November will be entered in to win the GRAND PRIZE! The grand prize is in the works - stay tuned!
