Family Swim Guidelines
Family Swim provides an opportunity for parents and guardians to enjoy the pool together with their family members in a shared, recreational environment. This time is intended for unstructured play, family bonding, and casual lap swimming.

Purpose
Family Swim is designed for families who want to be active together in the water. Patrons may enjoy free play, practice swimming skills, or swim laps, while remaining mindful that the pool is shared with other aquatic activities.

Participation & Supervision
  • Family Swim is intended for parents/guardians and their family members.
  • Children must be actively supervised at all times.
  • Non-independent swimmers must remain within arm’s reach of a responsible adult.
  • Guardians are responsible for supervision in the pool, on deck, and in the locker rooms.
Pool Space & Location
  • Family Swim participants may use:
    • The kiddie pool area
    • A designated portion of the shallow end
    • A designated portion of the deep end
  • Family Swim often runs alongside other aquatic programs; space is shared, and all patrons must follow staff direction regarding lane use and available areas.
Facility Expectations
  • All participants must follow posted pool rules and comply with lifeguard instructions.
  • Proper swim attire is required.
  • Swim diapers are required for children who are not fully potty trained.
Family Swim offers a flexible, welcoming space for families to enjoy the pool together while sharing the facility respectfully with other users. Aquatics staff are available to help direct patrons and answer questions about space usage during each swim.
