Join us for one of our regularly scheduled Aquatics Exercise Classes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Parks & Recreations Aquatics Classes are made possible by the dedication of our volunteers Kim Covalt and Michael Bania. Both of these extraordinary folks have committed their lives to health, wellness and recreation. For years they have devoted countless hours of service to ensure our community has access to guided exercise classes. We are eternally grateful for the skill they bring to the department. These classes would not be possible without them.

Aqua Stretching (Arthritis) Class
This class is offered on Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 8:30AM-9:30AM. During periods of time when the instructor is not available the pool remains open for self-guided workouts. At times one of the regular class participants will step in to help facilitate the class.

The Aqua Stretching (arthritis) Class is a rehabilitative type workout that focuses on the range of motion for all the joints in the body. This is a gentle, slow-moving class accessible to participants who may have limited mobility. It places proper emphasize on body form that eases arthritic joints.
